How I approach a problem

Map it
Every step, every owner, every wait. Most of a process is invisible until it is drawn.

Find the constraint
One thing sets the pace. Improving anything else is motion, not progress.

Rebuild the handoff
Delay lives between steps, not inside them. Fix the seam and the whole line speeds up.

Make it hold
Design for the tired version of the team. A process that needs everyone alert is a hope.
